Peter Fischli David Weiss: How to Work Better
The very nature of this whimsical duo’s work called for an atypical approach to the exhibition design. For their retrospective we worked closely with the curatorial team and artist’s studio to design a casual yet highly intentional layout and presentation. Questions, ironies, and clever inquisions of the every day invited rediscovery and second inspection in the ordinary. This exhibition brought together over 300 sculptures, photographs, and video works, including the iconic film The Way Things Go, which we chose to install multiplied and in sync of a chain reaction.
