This colorful installation of meticulously sorted objects consists entirely of objects found on the beaches of Baja, Mexico, along frequent whale migration routes. Broken down into typologies, a visual catalog emerges serving as a commentary on the ecological impact of our industrial world. Photographs of the objects surrounded the piece, along with a second, adjacent installation of tiny objects retrieved from a recreational field in Manhattan. The shift in scale and site further amplifies the universal message of the natural world and our place in it.
