Intervals: Nicola Lopez

Guggenheim Museum, New York, 2011

Intervals was a multi-year series of installations where artists were invited to temporarily engage with the building in experimental and innovative ways.

Cleverly incorporated during changeover and serving as a fantastical distraction from ongoing work in the rotunda, Nicola López used Tyvek, blue tape, netting, and other construction materials to draw attention to the building in new ways, guiding visitors through a specific set of framed tunnels and views.
