This new sculpture created by Cornelia Parker for the Cantor Roof Garden was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s film Psycho from 1960. It is at once familiar and disturbing, but also suggests an alternate reality as a scaled-down version of itself strangely overlooking Manhattan. As the production lead I was heavily involved overseeing the elements of this piece transition from a barn on a property in the northeast to the re-fabrication of this new, theater-like version staged and open on two sides.
