About
Intro
HIJK Design Group is a new exhibition design practice by Jaime Krone.
It is centered around how art shapes space and how space shapes art. We value the transformational experiences living within this intersection.
We thrive on innovative collaborations, uninhibited ideas, and the entire imperfect creative process.
We excel at navigating the complexities of exhibition design and production, space planning and programming, and site-specific installations. We also love making spaces of all kinds.
We appreciate working with artists, cultural institutions, galleries, architects, and private clients, and enjoy opportunities to team up with talented professionals we have encountered across 20+ years of museum experience.

Bio
For over 20 years Jaime has led exhibition design projects and teams across multiple prominent museums. She holds an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Bucknell University and a master’s degree in architecture from the Boston Architectural College.
Jaime considers the role of an exhibition designer to be a caretaker of ideas, helping transition a poetic vision or narrative thoughtfully into a physical, transformative, and holistic experience. Jaime especially enjoys collaborating with artists and curators on site-specific installations, where the dialogue between object and architecture becomes a new voice contributing to how we experience art.
